Meet McRae
Motherhood is a wonderful experience – but it’s often tough in the first weeks. It starts with feeling physically and emotionally depleted and second-guessing how to take care of your baby.
That’s when I can help.
I know what it feels like, having cared for babies and their parents for over 20 years and having felt that way twice as a mother of two.
As a Certified Postpartum Doula, I become a temporary, part-time member of your family – meeting your family’s needs and making space for your new family to focus on what matters to them most, so they can enjoy their sweet new addition and thrive through the transition.
Whether it’s your family’s first new addition or its fifth, I’ll provide the help you need – and deserve – to feel supported, cared for and confident during this time in your life.

Meet the Team
To best meet the needs of our growing circle of families, we have a team of qualified professional postpartum doulas and an IBCLC/SLP. This way, you can work one-on-one with me prenatally while our team members maintain continuity of care. (Many clients have suggested I clone myself, and this was as close as I could get.)
If you want two or three weeks of support exclusively from me, there are packages you can choose for that.
If I’m unavailable to care for your family in person, I’ll carefully match and orient a member of my team to step in at the standard rates while I keep in touch with input, advice, reassurance, or just to talk.

International Board Certified Lactation Consultant/Speech-Language Pathologist
Cherie WalkleyAfter receiving significant help breastfeeding my baby I knew I was called to help others through their parenting journey. I have over ten years experience as a pediatric speech-language pathologist. My training allows me to evaluate feeding difficulties (including at breast, by bottle, and solid foods) in babies, especially those related to oral-motor skills. I became a lactation consultant (IBCLC) so I could effectively help and understand the parent’s side of lactation, such as positioning, supply, pumping, and pain. My approach is family focused and I look forward to helping you reach your goals. |
Postpartum Doulas
Franccesca HagenIt has always been my passion to care for others. Caring for families in their new season of life gives me both purpose and joy. As a postpartum doula, I have used my many years of experience in childcare to foster the growth and confidence of families. I look forward to meeting and working with each new family! |
Seantajah LoganSince 2013, I have been an infant teacher and I knew working young children would be my calling. I am so excited to be able to help others in this beautiful process as they welcome a new member in their family. I can’t wait to make this journey easier for them and build confidence with themselves each. Aside from the birthing world I really enjoy writing poetry. I also recently became a C.N.A. and would love to use these skills to help others in a way they may not have known they needed |
Nadina MariFrom being in the medical field to jumping into childcare, I knew my calling was caring for others. Knowing that I am able to be a support system for new moms and dads as well as providing the best care for their little ones to ease their mind has been the turning point in my career. I am so excited for my journey as a postpartum doula and looking forward to meeting and growing with the new families I come in contact with. |
Addison PrewettI have always had a passion for childhood development and I have been blessed to gain my experience caring for new families over the years working in the field of foster care and as a nanny. I think every new parent deserves a doula and I’m so excited to help make your baby‘s start in life the best it possibly can be! |
Olivia StevensMy journey so far has always involved care taking for either adults or babies. Babies are my very favorite people! As a postpartum doula, I’ve found that walking alongside families in their season of newness, whether for the first time or the 7th, is what I love to do. Helping caretakers find their confidence and settle into their new families is where I’m meant to be. I love being the sidekick to all of you superheroes! |
Special Assignments
Taliah JacksonAfter attending and assisting during my little brother's birth at the age of 13, I had no idea I played the vital role of a doula to my mom. My passion for birth work began there; leading to my love of postpartum work. I'm a birth and postpartum doula trained through DONA and CAPPA. I've been a caregiver for over 10 years and have extensive experience with multiples, breastfeeding and bottle feeding, newborn care and soothing techniques. Currently, I am CPR/First Aid certified and speak Spanish. I strive to provide affirming, positive, and loving support to growing families. |
Emily MagriWorking with families and babies has always been a passion of mine. After giving birth to my first daughter, I went to a "Mom and Baby" group facilitated by a Postpartum Doula. As I learned more about what type of work that was, I knew immediately, this was the work that I wanted to focus my passion on. Supporting families to succeed in the parenting techniques that they choose and being able to educate and make them comfortable with their new family member is an opportunity that I do not take for granted. The 4th trimester is a unique time and assisting during those few months is truly an honor. I completed my DONA Postpartum Doula Training in 2014, and I am currently working on a "Dual Certification" through CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association). |
